Premium Bearing Steel & Heat Treatment:
Constructed from high-carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15), the race undergoes integral quenching and tempering. This results in a hard surface (HRC 60+) on the raceway to resist wear, while maintaining a tough core to absorb impact loads. This "hard shell, tough core" characteristic allows it to withstand the heavy shock loads typical of mining machinery.
Superfinished Raceway:
The raceway surface is subjected to superfinishing and precision lapping. This not only drastically reduces surface roughness to create an ideal texture for oil film retention but also ensures the geometric accuracy (roundness, straightness) of the raceway. The resulting low friction coefficient effectively reduces operating temperature and energy consumption.
Black Oxide Corrosion Protection:
The surface is treated with a black oxide (oxidation) finish, forming a dense layer of magnetite (Fe₃O₄). Installation Recommendation:
Thoroughly clean the shaft journal and housing bore before installation.
