The Precision Bearing Sleeve acts as the critical "bridge" between the shaft and the housing. It serves not only as a key load-bearing wear component but also as a sacrificial protective layer that shields expensive main shafts and gearbox casings from wear.
Designed specifically for mining drill rigs and heavy construction machinery bearing systems, this product is manufactured from high-grade alloy steel using the forging process and precision machining. It features ultra-high dimensional accuracy, roundness, and wear resistance. As an essential spare part, it effectively reduces maintenance frequency and prolongs the service life of the whole bearing assembly.
High-Grade Alloy Steel: Unlike ordinary carbon steel or cast iron bushings, this product utilizes high-performance alloy steels . These materials contain alloying elements like Chromium (Cr), Molybdenum (Mo), and Manganese (Mn), offering excellent hardenability to ensure uniform hardness and microstructure even in thick cross-sections.
Integral Forging: The blank is formed via hot forging. Forging not only increases material density but, more importantly, breaks up the original cast dendritic structure, allowing metal flow lines to distribute continuously along the bushing contour. Ultra-Precise Dimensional Tolerance: Inner diameter, outer diameter, and width are processed via CNC precision turning and grinding. We strictly control dimensional tolerances to ensure the fit with the bearing outer ring or housing is a transition or interference fit, eliminating issues like loosening, outer ring spinning, or abnormal noise during operation.
Excellent Roundness & Cylindricity: Utilizing high-precision centerless grinding and internal grinding, the roundness error of the bushing is controlled to the micron level. Perfect geometry ensures uniform load distribution around the circumference, avoiding early fatigue failure caused by local stress concentration.
Surface Finish: While described as "Without Processing" surface, we typically provide a fine turning texture or phosphating treatment. This surface aids in retaining microscopic oil films, forming lubrication during startup to reduce dry friction, while the phosphate layer prevents rust during storage.
Ultimate Wear Resistance: After quenching and tempering, followed by high-frequency surface hardening, the working surface hardness reaches HRC 58-62. This high-hardness surface effectively resists abrasive wear and adhesive wear , significantly extending replacement intervals.
