The Friction Plate serves as the core executive element of the clutch. It is not merely a switch for power engagement and disengagement but the key determinant of smooth shifting and transmission efficiency.
Designed specifically for mining drill rigs and heavy construction machinery gearboxes, this product is a composite of high-performance friction materials and a high-strength core steel plate. It offers excellent friction performance, impact resistance, and heat resistance. As a critical spare part for the transmission system, it ensures every clutch action is precise and stable under high-load operations, maintaining the smooth operation of mining machinery.
High-Performance Friction Layer: The surface utilizes sintered bronze or high-heat-resistant resin-based composites. This material offers excellent thermal stability, withstanding the instantaneous high temperatures generated during clutch engagement, preventing a drop in friction coefficient due to heat fade .
Vulcanization Bonding Process: The friction material layer is firmly bonded to the core steel plate via a high-temperature vulcanization process. This is not simple adhesion but an integrated structure formed through chemical cross-linking, ensuring the friction layer never delaminates or warps under severe vibration and thermal cycling.
Groove Design: The plate features precise oil grooves . These not only help control the friction torque but also facilitate the rapid expulsion of lubricating oil during disengagement and quick oil film buildup during engagement, achieving "fast connect, fast disconnect" and reducing wear during half-engagement.
High-Strength Core Steel Plate: The substrate is selected from 65Mn spring steel or 50CrV alloy steel, processed via precision stamping and heat treatment. This imparts high flatness and bending fatigue strength, preventing distortion under high torque transmission.
Unprocessed Gear Teeth: The internal or external gear teeth remain in their natural metallic state without additional surface treatment . This retains the original high hardness and sharp edges of the steel, ensuring a tight, zero-backlash fit with the clutch hub splines for rigid torque transmission, preventing slippage.
Customizable Surface Treatment: Although the teeth are typically untreated, we offer oxidation or spray-paint services for the steel plate surface upon request to enhance rust resistance or differentiate models.
Stable Clutch Control: During drill feeding or heavy equipment starting, this friction plate provides linear and stable engagement force. It eliminates shifting shocks, protecting transmission gears and drive shafts.
