Under the extreme conditions of mining and heavy construction, the mechanical energy generated by the engine must be converted into hydraulic energy via the torque converter, and then reconverted back into mechanical energy by the Conversion Turbine to drive the load. As the "final executor" in the power transmission chain, the performance of the turbine directly determines the equipment's acceleration capability, hill-climbing power, and fuel economy.
Designed specifically for mining drill rigs and heavy-duty construction machinery power systems, this product is manufactured from high-quality cast steel using precision casting and CNC machining. It features excellent structural integrity, high-temperature resistance, and load-bearing capacity. As a critical spare part for the power unit, it ensures the efficient and reliable operation of mining machinery under high-speed and heavy-load conditions with stable power conversion performance and low operation noise.
High-Quality Cast Steel: Unlike ordinary aluminum alloy or cast iron turbines, this product utilizes high-strength cast steel materials such as ZG270-500 or ZG35CrMo. Cast steel offers extremely high tensile strength and impact toughness, enabling it to withstand the massive centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation inside the torque converter, as well as the instantaneous peak torque brought by hydraulic shocks during heavy-load startups, preventing turbine blade fracture or hub deformation.
Precision Casting: Using the resin sand precision casting process. This ensures the accuracy of blade profiles, thickness, and angles, eliminating internal porosity and shrinkage. Precise blade geometry is the key determinant of converter efficiency, allowing it to maximize the capture of oil flow energy from the pump wheel and convert it into rotational power for the drive shaft.
Sand Blast Treatment: The main body of the turbine undergoes intensive sandblasting. This not only removes residual scale and sand but creates a uniformly rough surface, increasing the surface area to help dissipate accumulated heat during operation. Simultaneously, the rough surface aids in oil film formation, improving lubrication conditions.
Without Processing Mounting Surface: Critical mating surfaces such as the hub bore, mounting flange face, and locating datum are kept as precision-machined original metal surfaces (without plating or coating). This retains the original hardness and dimensional accuracy of the metal, ensuring a tight fit with the turbine shaft (or converter housing), preventing slippage or relative rotation (fretting wear) when transmitting high torque.
Dynamic Balance Correction: Every turbine undergoes individual dynamic balance testing before leaving the factory. Since turbines operate at thousands of RPM, even minute mass imbalances can cause severe vibration, damaging pump bearings and the engine crankshaft. We ensure residual unbalance is minimized through precision trimming.
Superior Power Conversion Efficiency: The optimized blade profile design allows the turbine to capture and convert the vast majority of kinetic energy transmitted by the pump wheel. This means stronger starting traction and faster acceleration response under the same engine power, thereby improving operational efficiency.
High Load-Bearing Capacity: During heavy drilling pressure or fully loaded hill climbing, the turbine must endure high loads for extended periods. The high-strength cast steel structure and optimized hub design ensure structural stability under sustained high torque output.
Low Noise & Smoothness: Precision blade profiles and dynamic balancing effectively reduce fluid noise and mechanical vibration during hydrodynamic transmission. This provides operators with a more comfortable working environment and reduces noise pollution in the surrounding area.
