High-Quality Carbon Steel: For conventional mining operations and geological exploration, 35MnB or 45# steel is selected. With proper heat treatment, it offers excellent cost-effectiveness, providing good strength and toughness to meet most drilling rig travel requirements.
Custom High Manganese Alloy Steel: For extreme conditions involving extra-heavy loads and hard rock breaking (e.g., large rotary drills), we offer ZGMn13 (Hadfield steel) customization. This material possesses a unique "work-hardening" property: under severe impact and compression, its surface hardness rapidly increases from HB 200 to over HB 500, becoming harder as it wears. It is the ultimate weapon against extreme abrasion.
Precision Stamping: The main body of the track shoe is formed via precision stamping of high-strength steel plates. This ensures geometric accuracy and precise hole positioning while retaining the continuity of metal fibers, imparting exceptional bending fatigue resistance to prevent fracture during travel on rugged terrain.
Wear Block Welding & Quenching: High-hardness wear-resistant alloy steel blocks are welded to the critical contact areas of the shoe's ground surface. These blocks then undergo surface quenching, achieving a hardness of HRC 50-55. This "rigid-flexible combined" structure ensures both the toughness of the shoe body (against fracture) and the ultra-high hardness of the contact surface (against wear).
Mining environments are often accompanied by high humidity, acidic water, and chemical corrosion, which ordinary paint cannot withstand.
Oxidation Treatment: First, black oxide or phosphating is applied. This dense chemical conversion film penetrates the metal substrate, providing basic rust prevention and, more importantly, increasing surface roughness for better paint adhesion.
Wear-Resistant Black Paint: The outer layer is coated with epoxy zinc-rich primer + polyurethane topcoat. This thick coating effectively isolates direct contact with rainwater, mud, and minerals, preventing the track shoe from rusting and corroding in humid environments, significantly extending storage life.
