Under the extreme conditions of mining, whether in the confined spaces of underground drifts or the massive rock impacts of open-pit mines, structural plates are the "skeleton" upon which equipment relies for survival. As a critical structural component for drilling rigs and heavy mining equipment, the Mining Machinery Plate must possess exceptional performance: it must not deform under massive loads, must not fracture under violent impacts, and must not fail under abrasive erosion.
Designed specifically for mining drill rigs and heavy-duty mining equipment, this product is manufactured from high-strength alloy steel using integral forging and precision machining. It delivers exceptional wear resistance and load-bearing capacity. With a Without Processing surface finish and precise dimensional tolerance, it ensures reliable operation and long service life in both underground and open-pit mining scenarios.
High-Strength Alloy Steel: Unlike ordinary Q235 or Q345 structural steel, this product utilizes NM400/NM450 wear-resistant steel or 42CrMo/40CrNiMo alloy structural steel. These materials offer extremely high yield strength (typically > 1000 MPa) and Brinell hardness (HB 400-500), enabling them to withstand the reaction forces of drill feed, the impact of breakers, and the torsional forces of fully loaded mining trucks, preventing plastic deformation (bending) or brittle fracture.
Forging Process: For critical areas bearing extreme loads (such as slewing support bases and boom roots), we employ free forging or die forging. Forging not only compacts internal porosity but also allows metal flow lines to distribute continuously along the force direction. This fibrous structure provides exceptional shear resistance and fatigue performance, allowing the plate to absorb energy through micro-elastic deformation when facing violent rock impacts, rather than suffering catastrophic fracture.
Without Processing Surface: The product retains its hot-rolled or as-forged black finish. This is not roughness, but a protection of the material's original strength.
Retention of Hardened Layer: The surface post-hot rolling or forging typically carries a natural oxide scale. This layer is extremely hard and acts as an excellent wear-resistant layer, effectively resisting scraping from sand, gravel, and ore.
No Induced Stress: No additional sandblasting, grinding, or plating is performed, avoiding surface residual stress or micro-cracks introduced by improper processing, ensuring structural integrity under heavy loads.
Precise Dimensional Tolerance: Despite the "unprocessed" surface, we ensure the plate's outline dimensions, hole positions, and bevel angles fully comply with drawings through precision cutting (flame/plasma/laser cutting). This "rough outside, precise inside" approach guarantees both convenient installation and maximized load-bearing capacity.
Exceptional Wear Resistance: In the damp mud of underground mines or the hard rock environment of open pits, the plate surface is constantly subjected to abrasive wear. The high-hardness surface effectively resists this wear, significantly extending replacement intervals and reducing downtime.
Excellent Low-Temperature Toughness: For open-pit mines in northern cold regions, we select steel with guaranteed Charpy Impact Energy (CVN). Even at temperatures of -40℃, the plate maintains good toughness, preventing cold-brittle fracture.
High Fatigue Life: Frequent start-stop cycles and severe vibrations are silent killers of plates. The forging process eliminates internal defects, providing strong fatigue resistance against crack initiation under long-term vibration.
