Under the extreme conditions of mining and heavy construction, equipment must not only bear massive loads but also face severe vibration and impact. The Clip Ring (Retaining Ring), though small, is the last line of defense ensuring the hydraulic and mechanical systems "do not loosen, leak, or misalign." It serves as both a positioning lock preventing axial movement of internal parts and a support ring assisting the sealing system against high-pressure leakage.

High-Strength Alloy Steel: Unlike ordinary carbon steel, this product utilizes 65Mn spring steel or 60Si2MnA and other high-quality alloy steels. These materials offer extremely high yield strength and elastic limits, enabling them to withstand hydraulic system pulse pressures up to 35-50 MPa and the severe mechanical vibrations generated during hard rock breaking, preventing the clip ring from plastic deformation (gap opening or collapse) under heavy loads.

Subsequently, it undergoes heat treatment (quenching + medium-temperature tempering) to achieve the optimal balance of elasticity and toughness. Use Specialized Tools: Never use a screwdriver to pry the ring into place, as this causes twisting, deformation, or nicks. Always use snap ring pliers for installation.
Inspect the Groove: Check that the bottom of the groove is smooth and free of burrs or damage before installation. A damaged groove acts like scissors and will cut the ring.
Do Not Reuse: Clip rings are disposable fasteners. Once removed, their elastic potential decreases. Reinstalling may fail to provide adequate locking force. Always replace with a new ring during every repair.
